One Boy One Tree

Be the Best - Plant a tree and Plan the future awareness pogram on Creating Greens and Dances of India festival - by avvai tamil sangam.

On the  signboard sabhari's sign is the first sign. 

 Appa wanted a neem tree nearby our home .  So we chose the neem sapling. Sabhari signed his name with a drawing of a small tree. After that he gave a  pose with the neem plant very proudly.









Amma and Akka  helped him to plant the tree  .  Akka and sabhari  take care of it .

Neem trees act as air filters that trap dust particles and absorb gaseous pollutants. Neem trees help reduce green house gases by absorbing large quantities of carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. Neem trees give more oxygen than other trees.

Neem's ability to withstand extreme heat and water pollution is well-known. It also helps to improve fertility of the soil and to rehabilitate degraded wastelands.

Dance programme

A local news paper celebrated their anniversary. sab's dance class students performed a good dance show during the celebrations. Before the programme he was complaining, dance classes are so boring and he wants to discontinue . But he enjoyed the show a lot and the great applause from the audience made up his mind to continue his dance classes. Now i find him very confident about his dancing skill.

Holiday Home Work

Sabhari got some Holiday Home work and here iam sharing it with you all .

Week 1

Mon - Draw a scenery using standing and sleeping lines.
Tue - Learn making pin and brown colours by mixing two different colours
and paint a picture using these colours.

Wed - Help mummy lay the table
Thur- Try and make a colourful figure using various shapes of
paper.

Fri - Dance to your favourite songs.
Sat - Visit a museum or a planetarium

Sun - call a friend to spend a day at your house.
Week 2

Mon - Learn to open and close your bag and water bottle and hang them on your
shoulders / neck.
Tue - Make a card for your grandparents expressing your love for them.

Wed - visit a place of worship and learn a prayer.
Thur - learn to dress and undress yourself
Fri - Draw and colour a butterfly using fingerprinting
Sat - learn your residential address and phone number.
Sun - Help papa was or clean his car.

Week 3

Mon - Press 5 flowers and dry them to make a card for papa.
Tue - Help your brother , sister or cousin in any activity of their choice.
Wed - Learn to wear your socks and shoes.
Thur - Make a picture by pastin different pulses.
Fri - Have fun playing with sand.
Sat - visit your grandparents house.
Sun - Make a family tree and paste pictures of alla your family members.

Week 4

Mon - Help your grandparents n a task of their choice.
Tue - Make your own music using various containers - plastic , tin , glass etc.
Wed - Dra your favourite dress and colour it.
Thur - practice wearing your socks and shoes.
Fri - Jun 5 th Environment Day Make a suitable chart and discuss with your parents
Sat - visit the Zoo
Sun - paint a flower , house or any other picture on a plain T- shirt.

One of my friends is working as a teacher. She invited us to her school annual day . We helped her children to get ready for their programme . In the mean time sabhari's sister managed the kids to baby sit. She acted like a teacher. Sabhari and my friend's son both were sitting in the last row. And they enjoyed the class very much. After the programme he told that he wanted to go to the same school even though already he had an admission in his sister's big school.

sabhari likes to read picture books .Sometime he reads and shows that to me even when i am cooking..

Traveling by train

Kids love to travel by train, I felt when brother & sister travel together they become very close to each other. They were enjoying the moments when they travel in train which made us very happy.

The boy in left side is Sabari’s junior in his play school. Once we met them in Chennai train when we travelled together. While talking with his parents we came to know that they were going to the same play school. They both enjoyed the time.



Like his sister sabhari too easily mingle with everybody and make friendship. This time he got a friend ,karthikey. He also a nice boy. He played cards with him.
This January we( sabhari and me ) travelled by train . He got a teddy bear gift. When no kids were around . He imagined the teddy as his friend.. he asks the teddy to tell ... what colour he had to colour .. when the teddy fell down.. he laughs and tells .. "oh teddy are u sleepy ... sit straight.. see how i am colouring this toy..."

Busy Man

With the centenarian the great grandsons and great granddaughers



Getting blessings from the "siva pujai selvar". For the Great Grandpa's 100th birthday there were 21 persons did siva pujai on the stage. We were on the queue to get blessings from every person. we have to close our mouth with our hand for showing our respect to them. Sabhari was watching everyone and did the samething .




This is also a Great grandpa . Thiruvanandhapura thatha.



He was helping to put oranges in the bag, which bag was distributed to all in the birthday function.


First he was arranging two pan leaves and one supari in the row .. to put in bag when the elders slow down .. he changes his department and then only he put oranges in that bag.




He was helping in the ARATHI decorations too. He was throwing the colourful balls in gum spread area.

After these hard works .. He felt very tired .Asked to switch on the fan. And asked for a pillow. had a good nap too :)

Green Bus ... my bus .. my bus

Green Bus
Delhi buses were in very bad condition.
We got new buses in green colour. Whenever he saw the green buses he shouts.... " My bus .. My bus.." But he never ride on that.

Today we used the green bus to go for his sister's dance class.He enjoyed the joy ride. He wanted to buy a ticket for him. I told him i bought two ticket ..one for him one for his sister. :-)

while we where waiting for the bus there was a Red bus crossed on the other side . He asked why dont we used that one.."that is also my bus ammaa? okey."" This is the another wish in his list..

When he was waiting for the bus... He sang the rhyme

Brave boy

Using hammer, he tried to burst the role caps . And also he tried to burst it by his shoes. :)
He also tried to write ABCD in the air with the light work... as his sister and friends did...
He bursted flower pot and chakaram .
While he was waiting for his turn He acted like a big boy and said " amma! i am enjoying it....
and too i am not scared.... uuuff! "

Movie experiences

Sabhari's first movie experience at theater - 23 m pulikesi - comedy movie
The first half he enjoyed well. second half ..he slept.

second movie .. sivaji - rajini movie.. First half he was sleeping. He liked the songs very much.
Since he liked this movie We hit the theater again...for the first half.:-)

Last movie and the third tamil movie is thasavatharam. Thank god ! he saw the 15% of the movie only.

We watched 70 mm movieMYSTIC INDIA ( neelkant)giant screen film (15perf/70mm) - showed at akhsardham temple.
The film technology is world class.
when a big lion showed up in the screen, even adults got scared, but sabhari didnt.
He liked the movie very much. And showed interest to see it again.

He watched 3D movie in Panorama science museum .
He got scared little bit but enjoyed with shivering.The glasses were big for him.

When objects like big snake , Skull appeared near to him he has stiffen his body

Now he scaring us with a toy snake .

Puzzle World

Sabhari is now 3 years and 9 months old.Sometime back , he received a puzzle box gift. I thought it may be difficult for him to solve the 25 piece of puzzles .One day he opened the box and tried with it .After that day he was almost addicted to puzzle solving games. He plays the 3 set of 25pc puzzles , atleast 2-6 times everyday.

And also he asks for online puzzle games .. before he used to play racing games .Nowadays he plays online at www.jigzone.com puzzles. There mostly he likes sport puzzles like race , boxing etc. When i asked "why dont you play butterfly and birds his answer was .." amma it is akka's game" :-)"

we visited a mall last week ... sabhari saw this car and wanted to ride . His sister bought the token for him. While we waited in a queue, a 2 and half year old girl was riding and she was scared and screaming.. Her mother took her out. .. ..Her mother tried to convince her saying "oo baby i gave 25 rs....

When Sabhari saw this, he was scared too ..he saw the car moving fast and said he didnt want to ride. The car was moving side by side ..

We told him that we would just take snaps on the idle car and the car wouldnt move

he was somehow convinced and sat in the car and acted like he is driving.

His sister put the token without telling him. He was confused but enjoyed . Then he gave a stylish pose with the car.
